This Privacy Policy explains how GetHelpsy processes your personal data, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who We Are

The controller of your personal data is PSIKOLOJIMDAT Sp. z o.o., which operates the GetHelpsy brand: ul. Studencka 41, 02-735 Warszawa, Poland; KRS 0001171111, NIP 5214116381, REGON 541661808. For any question about your data, write to contact@gethelpsy.com.

What Data We Collect

• Contact and booking details: first and last name, email address, phone number, and the date, time and specialist of your appointment.

• Information needed to provide counseling: date of birth, the informed consent form, what you choose to share in sessions, and your specialist’s notes.

• Invoice details, if you need an invoice.

Information shared in sessions may relate to your health and is special category data under Article 9 GDPR. Providing your data is voluntary, but we need your name and contact details to book a session.

Why We Use Your Data and on What Legal Basis?

Confidentiality

Our specialists are bound by professional secrecy. We do not share what you tell us, or the fact that you are our client, with anyone, except where the law requires it. Specialists may consult a supervisor, but only anonymously.

Who Receives Your Data

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers we need to run our services, under data processing agreements:

• Setmore – online booking and reminders. Setmore is based in the USA; transfers are protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

• Zoom or Google Meet – online sessions.

• Our accounting office – invoices.

• Hostinger – website hosting.

We also disclose data to public authorities when the law requires it.

How Long We Keep Your Data

• Counseling records and the informed consent form: 5 years from the end of the year of your last session. For clients under 18: 5 years from the end of the year in which they turn 18.

• Invoices and accounting records: 5 years, as required by Polish law.

• Messages and contact details not linked to sessions: up to 2 years.

After that, we delete or anonymise the data.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before it. Some data, such as accounting records, we must keep for the period set by law.

Clients Under 18

We work with teenagers aged 13 to 17 only with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian.
