Leyla Mahmudova

Psychologist

My own journey into psychology started with the desire to understand how our experiences shape who we become, how we carry the past into the present, and how meaningful change can happen when we begin to understand ourselves more deeply.

In my work I use holistic approach, using Schema Therapy, Psychodynamic approach, and combining with CBT and ACT. I support adults with long-standing emotional difficulties, relationship patterns, and ways of coping that may have developed through childhood experiences and later life events.

I do not see counseling as simply “fixing” symptoms. Symptoms often tell us that something deserves our attention.

Together, we can explore what is underneath them, recognise patterns that may no longer serve you, and strengthen the resources that are already within you.

Counseling can become a place where you no longer need to explain away, minimise, or carry your experiences alone. A place where understanding yourself becomes the beginning of relating to yourself differently.

If you are ready to meet your story with curiosity rather than judgment, I am here to accompany you.
